Cookie policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
What this policy covers
This policy explains cookies and comparable storage used by maya-portfolio.com. A cookie is a small file placed in your browser. Other technologies may store or retrieve information in a similar way.
External services can also receive personal data without setting cookies. Externally loaded Google Fonts can receive an IP address when a browser requests a font. They are therefore addressed in the privacy choices and Privacy Policy, even where no cookie is used.
Necessary technologies
Necessary technologies support services you explicitly request and remember your privacy choices. The website uses GDPR Cookie Compliance by Moove Agency to manage consent.
Where the strict-necessity requirements are met, storage or access is based on Section 25(2) TDDDG. Associated personal-data processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR where needed to comply with a legal obligation, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where needed to operate the website and apply your preferences.
These technologies are not used as permission to activate unrelated analytics or external services.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 is used only after your consent to analyse website visits and interactions. The provider for users in the EEA is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google LLC and other authorised providers may also process information outside the EEA.
Analytics can use cookies and pseudonymous identifiers to distinguish browsers and associate activity. Information can include pages viewed, interactions, visit times, referral information, browser or device details and approximate location.
The legal basis is Section 25(1) TDDDG for optional storage or access and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for consent-based processing of personal data. Refusing analytics does not prevent use of the basic website.
Fonts and external content
BBH Hegarty is served directly from maya-portfolio.com. It remains available without optional consent and does not connect your browser to Adobe or Google to retrieve that font.
Other fonts requested from Google’s font servers disclose your IP address and technical request information to Google. Where externally loaded Google Fonts are used on the basis of consent, they must stay blocked until that consent is given. Without consent, the affected text uses a fallback font. Further information is provided in the Privacy Policy.
Optional embedded content requiring consent remains blocked until you enable it. Its provider and purpose are identified alongside the content or in the settings.
Your choices
You can accept or reject optional services in the consent banner and choose categories through Cookie Settings. Optional choices are not selected in advance. Necessary functions remain enabled only to the extent that they meet the legal exception.
Use the Cookie Settings control available on the website to change or withdraw a choice later. Withdrawal applies to future activity and does not undo information already transmitted.
You can also remove cookies or restrict storage in your browser. Deleting the preference cookie may cause the banner to appear again. Blocking necessary functions may affect the service you request. Removing a cookie does not itself erase records already held by a service provider.
Storage periods and third-party access
The consent settings identify the technologies in use, their provider, purpose, category, lifetime and whether third parties can access them. A session technology expires when the relevant browser session ends. Persistent technologies remain until their configured expiry or earlier deletion.
Google Analytics record-retention settings are separate from browser-cookie lifetimes. Information about processing, recipients, transfers and your rights is available in the Privacy Policy.
